CHATPATA PUMPKIN

An easy and delicious recipe which is very popular during the NAVRATRI FESTIVAL. It is a must try for all pumpkin lovers. This recipe does not require much ingredients.

PREPARATION TIME-10 MINS COOKING TIME-2O MINS TOTAL TIME -30 MINS

Ingredients. A} Pumpkin pieces. B} Coriander powder -1 tsp. C} Paanchphoron -1/2 tsp. D}Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp. E} Salt and sugar tastewise. F} Green Chilli

COOKING STEPS. 1) Boil oil in pan and tamper with paanchphoron. As the flavor of the paanchphoron comes out, add pumpkin pieces. 2) Cook for a while till pumpkins becomes golden brown in colour. 3) Now add turmeric powder, salt , sugar and coriander powder. Let it cook in low flame for few minutes. 4) Add water as much needed. 5) Wait till the water dries up.

It tastes yum. Best to have it with roti or paratha. But my bong tongue loves it with rice-dal combo.
