KANCHA AMER JHOL | RAW MANGO CHUTNEY

Chutney – an undeniable necessity of Bengali household. Any auspicious occasion remains incomplete without a dollop of chutney. Even after a full course lunch, our hunger craves for more unless licking fingers with chutney. From sweet to sour to hot even, chutney has various taste to crave for. This recipe of Raw mango chutney is the easiest recipe of chutney that anyone can cook. Also it’s a quick recipe that’s very good for health.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Raw Mango
  • 1/2 tsp Oil( Any oil)
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 5 Spoon Sugar

HOW TO COOK RAW MANGO CHUTNEY IN 10 MINUTES

  1. Peel off the skin of the mango. Cut into cubes.
  2. Put 1 tsp Oil in pan. Temper the oil with 1 tsp mustard seeds.
  3. Add the raw mango cubes.
  4. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder.
  5. Toss till mangoes soften.
  6. Add 5 spoon sugar( addition of sugar is upto taste)
  7. Add 1 cup water and cover with a lid.
  8. Cook for 5-7 minutes in medium flame.
  9. Transfer to a bowl and let it cool.
  10. Enjoy!!

AAM KA MEETHA ACHAR / SWEET MANGO PICKLE RECIPE / HOW TO COOK MANGO SWEET PICKLE

Aachar known as Achar ,aachar or achaar is a pickled food native to the Indian subcontinent, cooked with variety of vegetables and fruits along with various Indian spices. In India, there are mainly two types of Achar , one cooked with oil and one without oil.Homemade pickles are mainly cooked in summer. Based on preparation techniques and spices, there is a wide variation in Indian pickles.

This Achar Recipe is my mom’s favourite. She cooked it in just 10 minutes. Also this Achar can be used for more than a month and that too even without keeping in refrigerator.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4-5 Raw Mangoes
  • 200 GM Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Indian five spice
  • 1/2 Tsp Rock Salt
  • 2-4 Cardamom

HOW TO COOK AAM KA MEETHA ACHAR

Take mangoes. Peel off the skin. Wash them. Cut them into slices.

Add the sugar. Mix everything with a spoon.

Put pan on oven. Add 1/2 tsp Indian five spice.

Pour the mango mixture in the pan. Add 1/2 tsp rock salt.

As sugar caramelized, add 2-3 cardamom.

Cook for few minutes more. Then pour it in a bowl. As soon it cools down, transfer to a container and keep it.

AAM SANDESH | HOW TO BENGALI STYLE MANGO FUDGE | AAM SANDESH RECIPE

Today I am going to share my recipe of Mango Sandesh. Mango- the king of fruits is my sole reason to love summer. Today I am divulging my way of making Sandesh with the king of fruits. It is very simple and easy to cook. Let’s Cook Mango Sandesh easily.

INGREDIENTS

Mango -2. Lemon -2 Milk -2 packets. Sugar -1 cup.

HOW TO COOK AAM SANDESH (BENGALI STYLE MANGO SWEET)

Boil milk and reduce the milk into half. Then squeeze lime juice in the milk. Obtain the curdled milk. Take the chaana on a plate and mash the chana

Put 1 spoon ghee in pan. Add the chaana. Toss the chaana.

Squeeze the juice from mangoes.

Put the pulp in pan.

Stir for a while.

Add sugar to taste.

Saute till the mixture dries up.

Transfer to a greased plate.

Cut them into barfis/ sandesh
